WoW Mage Leveling Guide

Like many players, I reached a certain point in World of Warcraft where the game had lost it’s “zing.” I started playing the game less and less. I had a horrible case of “alt-itis”, bouncing from toon to toon with no real purpose. Once my subscription was up, I was done. I wasn’t enjoying the game anymore. Sure I had some characters I had gotten to level 80, but each one seemed like such a chore that getting the next one just to level 60 seemed like a huge ordeal.
When I posted on my guild board that I was thinking of leaving, one of the senior members of the guild sent me a PM asking what the problem was. I told him a big reason was that the class I loved to play (the mage) was hard to level and I wasn’t having fun. He said he felt that way too until he learned the right way to level a mage.
