One of my favorite WoW Mage Leveling Specs

In order to level quickly with a mage, you need to focus on dealing out damage quickly without running out of magic. For the longest time, I tried to balance out my mage leveling build with talents from Fire, Ice, and Arcane. Let me tell you, a balanced mage is a slow leveling mage. Once I found a good WoW Mage Leveling Guide, I was in business.
In order to level faster, the best mage talent build invests heavily in fire talents. Fire has a high dps and can take down enemies fairly quickly. Here is part of a fire mage build spec up to level 31.
Fire
* Level 10: Improved Fireball (1/5)
* Level 11: Improved Fireball (2/5)
* Level 12: Improved Fireball (3/5)
* Level 13: Improved Fireball (4/5)
* Level 14: Improved Fireball (5/5)
* Level 15: Ignite (1/5)
* Level 16: Ignite (2/5)
* Level 17: Ignite (3/5)
* Level 18: Ignite (4/5)
* Level 19: Ignite (5/5)
* Level 20: Burning Determination (1/2)
* Level 21: Burning Determination (2/2)
* Level 22: World in Flames (1/3)
* Level 23: World in Flames (2/3)
* Level 24: World in Flames (3/3)
* Level 25: Pyroblast (1/1)
* Level 26: Improved Scorch (1/3)
* Level 27: Improved Scorch (2/3)
* Level 28: Improved Scorch (3/3)
* Level 29: Master of Elements (1/3)
* Level 30: Master of Elements (2/3)
* Level 31: Master of Elements (3/3)
This build focuses mainly on Fireball to carry you through initially. While it can be boring to spam the same attack over and over, it’s necessary to improve leveling speed for your mage. The above mage leveling spec should get you moving along quickly and allow the levels to go by without too much trouble. Just don’t jump in a bunch of higher end baddies and expect to take them out. You’re a damage dealing machine, but that doesn’t make you invincible.
